What's all the buzz about the new FTC ruling?

The Federal Trade Commission, on October 5, 2009, made a new ruling concerning testimonials, blogging, and commissions. This 80-page document may scare some of the unethical internet marketing firms but it is nothing but good news for legitimate content based search engine optimization firms.

If you take the time to figure out what this new ruling actually means for people who conduct business online, you will see that it is not quite as scary as it may sound. Some are calling it a "social media crisis". This is far from the truth for those who practice ethical, content based internet marketing. As a matter of fact, it is a boon for them since it should help eliminate some of the "black hats".
